Sales at 492 Copies on One Month Anniversary of NNAOPP

Thanks to all who helped me get mightily close to selling 500 copies of Nude Nuns and Other Peculiar People during the first month of availability.

Thanks in particular to John, an alert reader, who shared his poignant story:

I love this book.  I keep a copy next to my toilet.  I have suffered from a medical problem (locked bowels) for almost 30 years.  I have been reading a chapter each morning at the "appropriate" time, and, amazingly, it has completely cured my affliction.  The world needs more books like this.

Potential readers should be forewarned that the FDA has yet to endorse the book's purgative powers.

If you enjoy the book, tell the world. Thanks in advance.

434 Copies of NNAOPP Sold in First Three Weeks

Thanks to all early purchasers/readers of NNAOPP.  I received my second re-order from Rainy Day Books, 2706 W 53rd Street, Fairway, KS yesterday taking us over the 400 book threshold.  Then several orders came in the mail bringing the first three week total to 434 copies sold.  I'm encouraged by the response.  Take a look at the accompanying page for some of the testimonials and reviews that I've received.  Hope you're enjoying a few mirthful moments from the read. Tell others if you think it is worthy.

Thursday evening I spoke at a local "Great Decisions" discussion group about the process of writing and self-publishing a book and read a few excerpts.  Thanks to Lyman and Sally Ott for hosting and taking a chance on me.  I believe it was well received.

I'd love to hear from you with any feedback at cbjwells@sprynet.com.  Thanks again. Chuck

Mr. Wells has been fortunate to have met so many interesting people. The pleasure is all ours because he has written about his experiences and shared them with the reader. It is a well written book filled with the journey he has taken through life. This is a book well worth reading
